The Obesity Prevention Campaign will be launched this thursday 2/14, 2:30 p.m. at the Capitol Auditorium (Chamber Level). Everyone is invited to join in on this event! There will be plenty of room, so please invite your partners and/or supporters to join in. There will be media to promote current obesity pevention legislation.

Please see the map for the Auditorium location.

Here is a brief description of the event:
The State of Hawaii launches a three month-long obesity prevention
campaign to reach teenagers 12 to 18 years old. The messages therein
counter the attractive promotion of unhealthy foods and drinks that are
popular with our teens. Tenth graders from Island Pacific Academy
helped focus test some elements of the campaign, and these teens will be
publicly thanked for their contribution by Governor Abercrombie and
Director Fuddy at this "red carpet" style event.
